Problems create opportunities for growth and improvement. A personal problem creates opportunities for personal growth. Work related problems create great opportunities for professional growth and improvement. Misunderstandings with your family or friend create opportunities for relational growth. An unexpected disease, disability, or death in the family often create opportunities for spiritual growth.
Yes, we hate problems and the people that create problems but it is impossible for anyone to grow without facing problems. When painful, discouraging, frustrating and unfair situations happen to us, we can choose to get bitter or get better. Problems can make you nasty or nice. Difficult moments can make you sour or sweet. The key is how you choose to respond to problems. View problems as creators of opportunities, promotions, advancement and growth. The reason why the Bible says, “Love your enemies, bless those that curse you, do good to those that hate you, and pray for those who speak evil about you, and persecute you” (Mat 5:43-45) is because they’re blessing you. Don’t just go through problems; choose to grow through them.
